Ophiopogon planiscapus ‘Nigrescens’ is one kind of evergreen perennial that commonly known as Black Mondo Grass and belongs to the Convalliariaceae family.  This is an easy grown, small, clump-forming plant include purple/black leaves the look like grass. During summer flowers appears, which flowed by deep and spherical blue fruit. This looks excellent and attractive in tubs as well as plant in gravel for decoration. This plant is generally used under or around the large plant area to keeps the soil cool and moist to make attractive atmosphere.

Uses:  This plant is mostly used in garden designing works including rock gardens and border foregrounds, path edger, specimen, and ground cover to small area.
