Liriope is a species of low grass like blossoming ornamental grasses from East Asia. Like several lilioid monocots once it was categorized with lilies within the family of Lilaceae; also it has been positioned within Convallariaceae. The species was named regarding Liriope in Greek myths.
Height: 0.2 to 0.4 meters
Uses: It makes a wonderful landscaping plant up the edges of the road, sidewalks and pathways. Makes an excellent ground cover and low growing filler. It also could be utilized as a replacement for Ophiopogon japonicas.
