Kalanchoe ‘Flapjacks’- Flapjacks

Kalanchoe also called Flapjacks is a tough low growing succulent. Often used in the landscape as a textural contrast plant with its unique foliage.

Height: 30cm high

Uses: As a succulent garden plant with interesting foliage and high drought tolerance.

Planting tips: Very tough and hardy. It is not very hard to grow this plant.

Soil type: Any well drained soil.

Pruning: Prune it after flowering.

Water requirement: Low water requirements. Allow the soil base to be dried out before watering.

Feeding: None needed.

Pests and problem: Some kalanchoe genus contains bufadienolide cardiac glycosides that could cause cardiac poisoning, so be careful about it.

Climate: It performs well Australia wide as long as its not too humid.
